Production Academy

The Production Academy create a hands-on program that teaches teens, ages 13-18, how to express themselves using cameras, lighting equipment, sound and acting. Most of all, the teens will leave with a better sense of teamwork, planning, communications skills, technical skills and production skills.

The group meets on every other Saturday 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The Youth will learn all aspects of video and film production from pre-production to final edit. They will have a platform to communicate and express their concerns with: STDs, smoking, AIDS, violence and other health and social illnesses. These concerns will be expressed through Public Service Announcements, short documentaries, commercials and etc.
